We suggest pressing the coin against the corner of a table or windowsill to start the bend, then bend back and forth by hand until it breaks. Warning: this process is very satisfying and may become addictive. In our tests, there isn’t much of a sharp edge on the Half Pennies. We recommend rubbing any sharp edge onto the other coin edge or on a rock to smooth the coins for daily carry. Coin artwork by Nate Taylor, approved by Patrick Rothfuss, engraving by Woody Maringer.
